About Us
Love Above Everything Inc. began as a simple dream to do good—a dream that grew into a mission and a cause with permanent, life-changing impact.
In 2015, Ricardo (@ricardo.martins.r) was working as a cook in Portugal. Every night, he witnessed large amounts of perfectly good food being thrown away. It broke his heart. The image of that waste, while so many went hungry in the world, became too heavy to bear. One day, Ricardo made a life-changing decision: he and his wife would return to Venezuela and dedicate themselves to feeding the poor.
What started as a small Saturday activity—distributing meals to those in need—quickly grew. Word spread, and more and more people came to rely on him every weekend. It was clear this couldn’t be a one-man effort anymore. With the help of his wife and a group of dedicated volunteers, Ricardo began organizing distributions across different neighborhoods, expanding the mission to include clothing, toiletries, and medicine.
To support these efforts, he launched a GoFundMe campaign and an Instagram account to raise awareness and gather donations. Thanks to the generosity of people from around the world, Ricardo was able to open an incredible foundation in Venezuela, where they now provide free healthcare and respond to critical medical cases, funded through international donations and supported by our registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit Love Above Everything Inc.
This is still a work in progress—growing every single day. We now also support an orphanage in Mozambique called Orfanato Servas da Santa Maria, where we provide food, healthcare, mattresses and bed clothing, and hygiene products to children in need.
In Venezuela, we’ve opened a bakery with our own brand called Kind Bites that gives mothers the opportunity to work flexible hours while caring for their families. And this is just the beginning. We have many more projects in the works, and we need your help to make them happen.
